Eels will not sign Blaize and Jack howarth

Adrian Prozincko broke the news today.Eels aren't going to sign Blaize for 2027 but still could maybe look at him for 2028 and Jack howarth is a no go anymore which is very intresting now considering we wanted them badly.

He said because Blaize injury is more serious then expected and eels basically can't be asked.

But lemme know ur thoughts smart or nah?

  • Talagi not til 2028 is smart. I didn't get podcasts like 'Bloke in a Bar' saying play Blaize at Centre for us when he might miss the whole year?

As for Howarth, Proszenko is who reported we got Frank Howarth so that is an odd one. Big sticking point more likely is Melbourne not releasing him early.

  • I'm glad Howarth not coming, worst centre in the game. If we signed him we put one step forward and two steps back. He's a system player that suits the storms will never suit our system we play fast on the ball side to side and we need Best/Burton/Bostock game changer players heck ill take Latrell.

    • Burton would be nice

      • Wish we can sign 2 of them but knowing Mark O'neils negotiating skills were cooked

        • Yeah he stuffed up Leniu and Tuivait........oh.

Plus also, Ben Rogers was mainly in charge of negotiating as per his head of recruitment title. He is now gone so we wiil see if negotiating improves.

  • No big surprise really!

If Prozincko has a scoop, why doesn't he tell us who we are signing LOL.

  • Reports O'neill now wants deajarn Asi back to play centres

  • Time will tell
