Though many would consider both Kiraz and Saab as an improvement over Samrani as a player. Therefore the argument of Samrani should dominate France, well Saab and Kiraz (who is in Origin talk every year) and played 129 and 98 NRL games respectfully, were not good either. Doesn't excuse Samrani entirely, though it adds some consideration.
We need another 2 wingers for next year around the same level as Schiller. Simonson will last 5 games, and from Schiller's history he won't last much longer than that.
On the plus side his big strong and has tackle busting ability. On the negative he has a few errors in him. His a good project to work on. Has plenty of upside.
Yep - if you look at his stats tackle break and line break stats are towards the top of 1st grade wingers from the year in 2025 when he played 17 FG games. Line Breaks: Elite (Ranked #2). 1.24 line breaks per game. Winger Ranking: He finished 2nd overall among wingers, trailing only Josh Addo-Carr (26 line breaks in 22 games). Tackle Breaks: Highly Competitive (Ranked #11). Schiller's average of 5.05 tackle breaks per game placed him in the upper echelon of efficiency. Defense: Developing (Ranked #14). Defensively, Schiller is an active player but still developing his efficiency on the edge. In 2025, he made 82 tackles but registered 33 missed tackles.Tackle Efficiency:71.30%.
Alot of people unhappy with this signing he is a good winger who came cheap he isn't a world beater but will definitely do a job if this keep cap space free for a big singing or 2 it's a great signing if we sign Noone then it's terrible let's just wait and see.
"Guess what dummy your 20/1 shot won the cup, same odds as JAC had for passing his second test, but hey, you would have known that because you know odds.....is there anything you don't know and they say I am the arrogant prick."
"Thinking more about it, this could be Best saying to Newcastle "i want to stay, so come to the party" type thing. They way he is constantly in the media, he is trying to get public perception from fans on his side and make Newcastle cough up more.…"

hey LB not having a go at you but IMO using Saab and Kiraz is not good as Saab is a poor mans winger and offers nothing and Kiraz is not much better.

Kiraz and Saab have played 200 NRL games between them. They are first graders. Every team has players of that standard.

Defensive is his biggest issue.

Why are people complaining about Schiller? We need back depth. We need numbers.
We are not getting finished articles for this requirement. We need to sign a Best or Bostock, sure, but that's one, what about the rest?
Schiller etc...will do the job.
