Another reserve grader but we do need depth in the outside backs.
Geeez if we keep going with huge signings like this , everyone is going to start thinking we found uncle Nicks salary sombrero .......
It is not great. We wanted more depth for our backs, JAC has led to us getting more desperate. Had JAC not done what he did, i bet we don't even look at Schiller.
But we seem to have him, let's see how it goes. He has 33 games experience, more than any other Winger, other than our starters. So that is a positive, if only minor.
But Ryles agreed to it so we will see what he can do. He did a great job with Kelly, granted Kelly was a much better player coming here than Schiller but still changed the perception of Kelly.
Just have to see how it goes. It is depth.
I was looking at some LBA stats last night and was surprised to see Kelly had 20 LBAs in 2023.
Schiller has big errors in him. Fixes that could be handy as bottom dollar. We're in trouble if he starts on the wing for us round 1
Think Forget Bostock, hear he is close to takin the sharks offer.
Ive watched Schiller, he's faster more agile and more skilful than Samrani and he's played plenty of centre. Has the height and plenty of speed for wing also. Injury is probably why he hasn't nailed down a fg position. If he signs some fans will be surprised.
Come back to this blog in 12 months and people will see who was right about Schiller
