    • He has never been on fire since he has played first grade with anyone Tad.

A good tactic is to run at him all the time.....he has been a protected species since he has been at the Panthers, you cannot help but to admire how Ivan Cleary has managed him just the same.

If he becomes an excellent player, you could write a book on what Cleary has shown in bringing a young player through. No doubt Blaize's decision to take the Penrith route is the correct one for him. Whether Blaize proves to be up to it, is yet to be seen.

      • Pops Blaize has been rubbished on this site by many.Panthers had a different opinion. Blaize,s attitude is something any club would want in big time. I know you don't like reading words from primary sources. Hoping to tempt you

        • I have maintained Talagi will be a gun player. People just having a dig at him cause he left.

He got an offer to play his preferred position, next to the best halfback and at the best club.

      • Pops Blaize has talent and a fair amount of ability. Doubt he will ever be an out and out champion, but think he will play Orgion.

In half a season his defence, passing and running game has improved alot. Still needs to work on his short kicking game. Put it this way mate he will be a better attacking six then DB ever was. My opinion but time will tell.

Let's see who offers most to their team on Sunday.

  • The problem with the opinions around Talagi is once you hit FG your meant to be the finished product from a lot commenting when in all essence it's the beginning. The instant gratification is just rampant around him.Ivan Cleary isn't an idiot he understands the strengths and weaknesses of the mentioned it's just a time and experience thing now.But you watch good or bad game I'm sure the opinions of Talagi will be way off the mark purely because what your seeing half a season into Talagi's FG career is as above far from a finished product.

  • Martin ruled out with a wrist injury, nothing else yet on the other guys
