        • Thanks ea thats a real shame. Had some good moments in the trials.

    • Hunter is the most naturally gifted of these players. He left Cowboys because Jaxon Purdue was selected ahead of him. As juniors they were regarded as equal. So far he has been injury free which is a plus. My preference is that he now goes back to Jersey Flegg so he qualifies for the final so they can win. I see for the Parramatta club learning to win is what we need from our players. He has shown already that he is cabable of playing against the bigger bodies in reserves. We lost the reserves last week because we allowed 5 tries down one side.

      • Lorenzo is even more talented than Hunter. Not convinced on Hunter yet. But he has progressed heaps this year. Needs a lot of work on his defence which Ik is true for most young halves. But I love how Hunter is always willing to take the line on with his running game. Surprisingly breaks tackles for a bloke not that big. Got a good short passign game with his backrower too.

        • Lorenzo looks like the milf to me in his Canberra days. Humter is a lot like a  young Moses.  What I have seen in highlights.

      • See link and scroll to report on Parramatta game. This gives you an idea on Matthew Hunters ability to read the game.https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2025/06/21/live-coverage--the-knock-o...

      • Isn't Purdue a centre?

        • Has played several games at 5/8. Better FG centre at this stage of his career but I think Cowboys are hoping that changes. They want him and Deardon has their halves.

  • First game against them the wingers both made poor defensive issues to let in tries. Plus Samrani got burnt by McLean, hope thats been addressed.
we were in that game till late, gave away dumb penalties.

I think Simonsson will come in late

    • I'll say onething about Maclean he's the next good centre he had a cracker outing against Critta and the Dogs the other week and is highly regarded in the international circles also. He's a Kiwi in waiting for sure already made his debut there aswell.

  • A five eight taking the line on continually can be a problem for the team for other players in the backline , I seen it too often when the team has an ovios overlap and the chance is mist
