We could have two milestones on Sunday.
Junior Paulo's 200th Eels game and Simonsson's 100th NRL game.
Also, odd selection of Papali'i at 1 and Twidle drops out but Matthew Hunter keeps the 6 spot. If Papali'i was set to be the 5/8 in waiting wouldn't you play him there and leave Twidle at 1?
Yep very confused by that. Hunter also had a poor game in cup this week.
And if Papali goig to be our 5/8 you think you play him instead of Brown so he can get better for next year and players can get used to him being our 5/8

I mean look Talataina is a talent, but still raw. Dylan Brown was thrown in younger than what Talataina was but he was ready sooner.
I would love to know Ryles' plans in regard to Talataina, whether sign a 5/8 for a year or two then Talataina comes in around 2027-28 after a full year or two in Cup, as he needs it. Would Ryles throw him in? I mean doubt it but also would not surprise me if he did as he has done it before and we are in a better spot now with our spine then when Ryles started. I wouldn't personally just yet as he has had a lot of good games in Flegg, he also had a shocker a week or two back.
I would love to see him finish 2025 with a Cup appearance or two, just to experience the pace and strength of the grade.
If i had to put money on it, i reckon Ryles has either someone in mind or an idea of someone being available they will go for. Again i used Jayden Campbell as the example where a rumour floated that he was set to told he is free to go and Ryles grabs him. As an example. Not saying that is true just an example.
