The eels are offering Jordan samrani in a player swap for Mitch Barnett and also a three year 2.6 million dollar deal.Personally I think it's a bit to much.Lmk your thoughts 💭?

Trouble is you guys get carried away with "flashy one offs" you don't like looking outside the box, to see what else we have or need.
Samrani is promissing and has potential, but he is not going to be a destructive forward and more than likely a handy utility back. He scores a try and a few wet their pants, Doory is an example of a fair wether flyer, good young player and I like the guy.....gets injured a bit too much, we have many like him coming through.....he is the type of player that I would look to swap out for Barnett.
We have guys like Guymer and some new one's coming in like Petrus and a few others I can't remember Koine? etc....these guys need to see openings......we could lose two middles to NZ in swap for Barnett.....on the one proviso (would he want to come here? and do the players we talking about binning want to go there).....answer those questions positively! if not, it is a semantic discussion.
Well if you are referring to me Pops, you would see I said Samrani as a depth player is crucial due to what we have. I also said if we signed say Tago then I would be fine letting him go.
But yeah some here are saying he is a gun, when I feel he is a serviceable player at this stage.

If you read the article it sounds like the author is suggesting players warriors may want rather than saying that those are the warriors want.
I doubt Warriors accept it though. They would want top tier quality. Lomax would have been ideal.
On a side note we last year signed the big boy Jordan Miller from Wests Tigers...

I wouldn't be swapping Samrani for an over the hill forward like Barnett.
We have enough over the hill forwards as it is.
One thing i will say is let's say this is true, could it be that we are about to get Tago? As MON said they are after a middle forward and another back. I doubt they move on a back in order to get Barnett. But if we get Tago, then Samrani becomes expendable to them as Kelly is the main back-up and possibly also Simonsson.
I really don't like these player swap offers being made public. Knowing our club (like the ryan matterson saga), we probably didn't even consult Samrani. Not a good look.
And even if they did consult Samrani, how would he feel knowing he's not wanted? We've got him for 2 more years ffs.
This is yet again, horrible recruitment and retention strategy by Mark O'Neil.

I happen to agree with your inference, I have aleady posted that it would be most unlike Parra to discuss such tactics in public. The journalist's seek out people like you who get taken, not for the right reasons, but because you can stick it up Mark O'Neil who for all intents and purposes is probably reading the same shit as you.......how do you handle it "another terrible recruitment stratedgy by Mark ONeil" are you not the same guy who goes around saying the fans are the last to know? you demonstrate admirably why that is so.!
