It keeps lagging when I try putting the article up so I won't bother but coming from code sports.
The eels are offering Jordan samrani in a player swap for Mitch Barnett and also a three year 2.6 million dollar deal.Personally I think it's a bit to much.Lmk your thoughts 💭?

I happen to agree with your inference, I have aleady posted that it would be most unlike Parra to discuss such tactics in public. The journalist's seek out people like you who get taken, not for the right reasons, but because you can stick it up Mark O'Neil who for all intents and purposes is probably reading the same shit as you.......how do you handle it "another terrible recruitment stratedgy by Mark ONeil" are you not the same guy who goes around saying the fans are the last to know? you demonstrate admirably why that is so.!
I don't know if you agree with me, disagree with me or are insulting me, but sure. That was a difficult read.

Samrani is a great back up and can see him having a 50-100 game career scattered over 6-10 years.
but at the end of the day we will be swapping a fringe player for a sure 17 player.
samrani is 4th choice winger (jac simmoson and Russell)
4th choice centre (penisini Russell and kelly)
and quite down the line for edge forwards (Williams Kautoga tuilagi guymer and 2 juniors coming through that will be on nrl contracts in 27.
with the expanded bench we know longer need that forward who can fill in as a back in a pinch.
from Samrani perspective he is fringe first grade quality so perhaps warriors may be a bit short in any of those positions he can cover. He'd also likely score a slight contract upgrade there too.
win for Samrani and win for the club.
I guess, if someone like Penisini or Nanva can kick on then even better but at this stage once one of the backline go down, the next man up goes in but after them?
But also if Warriors accept that for Barnett then it's crazy how they'll accept. A starter for a current reserve
The Warriors are trying to do the right thing by Barnett who is asking to leave on compassionate grounds - so the Wah's are never going to get a dream swap. The names being floated are pretty mid but I guess they're better than nothing.
I don't mind giving samarni but I just don't think Barrett is worth 820. Not sure we wouldn't just offer Kolo that extra year or may that money at the time
That's a bad idea on so many levels, I doubt there is much truth to this at all.
Yes for me! Prefer Barnett over kman from souths which some people on here were willing to pay 1.2 million and sneeze at 800k for Barnett. Hopefully he is the same after knee injury and we get good use out of him. Shame we lose samrani in the process. Fan of his progression too. Most had him in the team this week. I thought Barnett was going to brisbane?
