A boost for the Eels with star winger Josh Addo-Carr (thumb) back on deck so Sean Russell moves to centre and Brian Kelly drops to the extended bench. Jack Williams slides to prop in place of the suspended J'maine Hopgood with Kelma Tuilagi joining the starting side. Sam Tuivaiti has again been named in No.15 and will be hoping for game time after a reshuffle last week saw Joash Papalii sent into the game when Isaiah Iongi left the field for a HIA.

  • I am very concerned with Kelma Tuilagi on the edge. Defensively he can be very suspect. At least the Fox is back.

    • I doubt Taulagi plays the 80, Williams can't shift to edge when a middle comes on. Might get 50 min from Kelma

      • Well Williams can come off in the rotation and come back in and play the rest of the game from the edge about 50mins in.

        • Williams missed his fair share of tackles, a couple of clangers aswell.

I think if kelma does the job he'll keep his spot and Williams will stay at prop

      • He's a backrower. Playing 80 minutes is basically a requirement these days. Kautoga and Williams both played 80 last week.

    • Needs a few rounds to get match fit, same as last year.

      • The bloke is nearly 5 seasons and 100 games into his NRL career. If he's a backrower that's starting he has to be ready to go. If he's not fit, that's on him and he can go play Cup until he can.

      • How though? He had a full pre-season? Unless coming back from injury you are a professional athlete you should be ready to go come Round 1.

    • Agree and it's often effort areas that let's him down I.e. too slow on the inside shoulder/ not responding quick enough to second phase play. Would have gone moretti bench and left Tuilagi out
