Let's leave that up to Ryles . All i know is that Footy Dean was on the outer before the season ended. And if Pezet wasn't here, we'd be left with Volkman at 7 first back up.
That would be a total disaster
I also think the pre season training will sort out the combinations. I really don't think Ryles has the five-eighth position set in stone for round 1.
No explanation needed, it's quite simple to work out that Hawkins wouldn't have been released.

Yes I said that initially as I there were widespread rumours that he'd signed for 3 years, then suddenly 1 year. It hit me initially and though why.
Initially I was emotional like yourself.
But after working out why Ryles ( who's doing a top job) after sleeping on it it was the right deal. I came to my senses and now understand the situation.
I don't understand why you're still emotional hkf its been 4 days and you're still banging on about why Ryles and the club f'd up in your mind.

Yes my head was spinning initially, but I.like 90% of fans have worked it out, and has faith in the direction Ryles is taking the club.
Hawkins wouldn't have been released if we didn't sign pezet, Hawkins would be the backup half.
If pezet plays reserve grade and is primarily used as a backup only i will change my name to chiefy mcloving's bitch.
I look forward to you and others blowing up at the end of next season because we will be entering 2027 without a 6.

Also , like I said previously, Footy Dean didn't play in the final four matches, reserve grade finals and wasn't on the injured list. To me he it looked like he was on the outer, or asked for a release in August. It can't be anything else

The fact the eels are being used as a cum rag doesn't sit well with me, the broncos got the better end of the stick in this deal.
We can only hope the short term gain outweighs any long term pain.
