      • Pop's I am talking consistently one of the best on the field each week. Lets be honest Poppa, he pulled his finger out more once BA was sacked. And he was not the only one here; he is paid exptremely well Poppa and should be one of the best each week...Like Junior. We lost Moses and we needed guys like him and Paulo to really aim up. Gutho showed strong effort each week, albeit some errors in his game but guys like Brown and Paulo need to be better for me, consistently

        • Yeah , he was consistently just ok . He needs to be consistently fantastic. He was the third best half on the paddock against The Tigers. Not remotely close to good enough considering he's earning more than the other 3 put together and then some.

          • Mitchy, I dont believe there was any difference pre or post BA being sacked.

I do know that he has been targeted and so heavily marked as the only attacking weapon that we had left. Not to mention the lack of ability of some/most of his backline support players to support him in anyway.

Wiz likes the new kid from Wests and he will be on Dyllan's money before you can say wow! Dyllan will know doubt work on that one, because anyone earning more than Wiz is an automatic target!

            • Poppa, he's targeted each week and I get it; his defence is generally v good; for me it's his overall game and consistency. He's paid handsomely to perform each week - that's my point and I don't think he aimed up as much as needed prior to Ba being shown the door. Like some others all the talk abt love for Ba was great but we saw some piss poor performances before the sacking occurred. I don't attend training etc but it seemed some players seemed quite comfortable in the top 17. Depth / retention is another argument

          • If we had 60 points put on us there is no way you'd be crediting one our halves as the best half on the paddock

            • Good point Michael!

Going back to your point Mitchy, the implication is he doesn't always put in, I have never noted a lack of effort. His effort is demonstrated week in week out in defence. This undeniable because you see it every week. I cannot imagine him trying any less in offence, but when your playing with Rabbits and your a play maker, then is only so much you can do. Moses is accused of the same thing and you will notice they went after Reynolds last weekend, where Blind Freddie could see that if you close Reynolds down in that side without some of the runners that were not available, you get a low output result.

Every time Dyllan runs there are two players on him and a third circling. I think sometimes we fail to understand the game at a perspective and when you have the likes of Wiz criticising everything wrong that Moses, Brown and Gutherson do then some of the weekend warriors don't quite get it!

PS. This season Dyllan has busted his guts trying to putty over our terrible backline defence, At one point I saw him come from the opposite corner of the field to make a tackle, get up and crossed to his side the next play and people wonder why he didn't score a try in the next 6 moves. Because he was stuffed!

    • Over the entire season Dylan remains our best and most consistent defender. Yet some want to bitch that he's not always "on." Spare me!
