Jarome Luay informed the Tigers he was moving to PNG for 2028.

Within a week the Tigers extend the May Brothers, Bula and have a ready replacement in Madden. This was THE BASKETCASE of the NRL. Now they will be fighting for the Premiership in the next 3 years. They have the cattle for it.

Dylan Brown informed Parra in March 2025 he was leaving the Eels. Parra have not signed anyone in the 5/8 position and it's now May 2026. We're waiting to see if Lorenzo Talataina will be NRL ready in 2027. If not we'll be playing journeymen like Ronnie Volkman who is no more than injury or suspension fill in.

We lost a Rep winger (Lomax) yet did not replace him nor are there talks we are going to. We signed a washed up JDB who the Dragons left by the bins and Brian Kelly who drops more balls and missed tackles than has meals a day. The Titans laughed us out of their offices.

I'm completely disillusioned with the club. Expecting bottom 3 for 2026 and more of the less the same for 2027. Jayden Su'a isn't going to flip the clubs fortunes. Waiting when and if the juniors can make the level. Sorry that's just pissing in the wind hoping you're not gonna get it running down your legs.

We're screwing Mitch the same way we screwed Jarryd Hayne surrounding them with bums.

Honestly If I was Mitch, I'd be kicking and screaming to be released or traded for a club aiming for the premiership and I wouldn't blame him either.

It's all fucked.

    • Thats incorrect.  Parramatta failed to forecast the effect the bears and now png would have on the players market.  The thought they could easily replace  Brown Lomax Gutherson  $$.

Thats on the club's management both Sarantinos and O'neill.  They are the decision makers

      • Gutho was replaced by Iongi. Brown left for money and Lomax because he is an idiot. What role is speculating about anticipating Bears and PNG playing in any of those three cases? NONE.

When your argument gets to the point where it's making these kinds of crazy speculative leaps, it's just an agenda. Yawn

        • I said, they thought the Dylan Brown,  Lomax and Gutherson $$ would buy themselves out of the situation we are now in lacking elite quality.

Now with the bears and png making it extremely difficult for Parramatta to attract new talent,  the Eels management failed to forecast the effect these new teams would have on the market.

Brown with good management should have never left Parramatta. They should have never have let it get to the stage where he was open to offers - that's what you call incompetent management

        • Are you on the payroll Daz? Or are MON & Jim holding one of your children hostage?

You are fighting a weird fight here mate. Are you saying executive blood should not be spilled....that's kind of laughable at this point. Why not.

"Whatt have they done for me lately"

  • Let me tell everyone something  - this club are going to be bottom 4 for the next decade. The incompetent football department and Sarantinos have destroyed this club.

Dylan Brown should have never got to the stage where he was allowed to negotiate.  They thought with Dylan,  Gutherson and Lomax leaving the club would have massive purchasing power,  but they failed to foresee what the bears and now png are doing in making it an extreme players market.

Now Parramatta will need to pay exorbitant overs to gain any high quality player, and there are very few available. To put it bluntly  - we're fckd.

People are saying its because of our injury toll - true - but what excuses are they making for round 1 where it should have been 70 - 0 had Melbourne had not taken the foot off.   We had no injuries in R1.

The dragons are the other team fans think we'll save us from absolute disparity,  but the Dragons are building way way  better than us.  The core of their pack is young and talented.  Hamish Stewart,  The Couchman twins, Egan, Halangahu,  Pacifica Tonga, are all in first grade gaining experience . Add to that a Marquee Kolomatagi and Drinkwater,  and they also have a rising halfback in Reed. The dragons have more to look forward to than Parramatta do x 10.

Parramatta on the other hand keep talking about our talent in flegg and cup, but that means zero unless these players are gaining reps in first grade.

Trust me, unless there's a circuit breaker like Shane Richardson or Matt Cameron.  We'll be playing for the spoon bowl until at least 2035

Both Sarantinos and O’Neill need to answer for the absolute incompetent football management.  Its a total disgrace.  Ryles i have time for,  but the rest can all empty their lockers.

    • You mean Richardson who let his marquee signing defect due to player options? That Richardson?

      • Look at the nrl ladder Einstein

Here it is Einstein.  Have a really good look at the Tigers position.

        • So you want POs back Chief?

The ones that Dylan had, but worse, year by year ones.

Make a decision. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

  • I think Luai was always going to use Wests as a stop-gap club. Not many players stay there for years on end if they are half decent. Wests would have known this, and because they are always losing players they need to be constantly looking for back-ups. Parra haven't the same level of players exiting in the past, but disturbingly we are seeing that becoming increasingly the norm.

As others have said, Parra have had a lot to fix over the last 10 years, and we are making great progress. The Kellyville training facility alone will produce great results on the field, but of course this is not nearly enough. One of the last things to get right is the R&R. Maybe this should have been more of a focus a few years ago, but here we are in this situation now. We have some great talent coming through and the trick here would be to keep the players we see as going on to become solid NRL players and letting go the players who are not showing the same promise. Like all clubs we will get this wrong at times, and players will look for a pay day instead of development, but we need to promote a culture that attracts players to our club.
