Eels ask for Sua 2026

EELS ASK DRAGONS FOR SU’A IN 2026!

Reports circulating that the Parramatta Eel’s have made new discussions with the Dragon’s to allow Eel’s new signing for the 2027 season Jayden SU’A join the club early in 2026, off the back of many injuries this is a call for help.

Parramatta Eel’s General Manager of football, Mark O’Neill has stated yesterday in a stadium tour with fans that Eel’s are actively looking at options before the June 30 deadline.

Mark was also asked about Herbie Farnworth, which he indicated that it’s something the club could look at or would love to have on board.

      • I agree Zip. We desperately need Herbie. $6mill for 5 years.  Yes!

      • 100% agree

    • Mate Mark O'Neil already has eyes for Kelly to be Russell's replacement 5 years guaranteed.

    • well we have buckleys in getting him

  • We need more than sua. One thing I would say is herbie looked very disinterested on Friday.  They just resigned Averillo. Bostock played centre so where does that leave Averillo?  Mon for 7 weeks has been looking for June 30 options. Sounds like his to afraid to make a decision in case he gets ridiculed by fans. We needled plays weeks ago.

    • Again, the ones who are available to sign would want more than just this year and we only want them for this year to cover gaps.

The ones worthwhile clubs seldom release.

      • Thats incorrect. Mon is looking to fill out top 30 b4 June 30. Aka walker and tds .

        • No it's correct. They will sign a player for top 30 the only ones they could get, other than Su'A, would want next year too and we won't want them that long. Ones we could get like Tago I doubt Penrith let him go as they need depth this year.

We have to hope a team is willing to let good players go now. More so from teams that aren't going to make finals.

Blue Eel replied to John Boyle's discussion Concerning Stat - Moses
"Wouldn't it be nice, if those around him could actually help get us into the oppositions 20m zone for Moses to shine in the try assist dept. Relying on Mitch's monster kicks to get us into position on the field can not do it all.
Im more concerned…"

"Question is why are Easts so desperate to move him on? An Origin Prop? Something is going on and not sure if that is good for us. I mean who knows maybe change of scenery is what he needs."

Gucci replied to John Boyle's discussion Concerning Stat - Moses
"Can't score a try.
1. if we can't hold onto the ball.
2. Can't cart the ball up field.
3. Have an average of 30 points scored against us which significantly drops our possession.
No try means no try assists.

"Agree. Had initially hoped Penisini developed into a decent centre but he hasn't.
I'm now hoping Samrani could be that guy that solves our centre issue. "
