Eels ask for Sua 2026

EELS ASK DRAGONS FOR SU’A IN 2026!

Reports circulating that the Parramatta Eel’s have made new discussions with the Dragon’s to allow Eel’s new signing for the 2027 season Jayden SU’A join the club early in 2026, off the back of many injuries this is a call for help.

Parramatta Eel’s General Manager of football, Mark O’Neill has stated yesterday in a stadium tour with fans that Eel’s are actively looking at options before the June 30 deadline.

Mark was also asked about Herbie Farnworth, which he indicated that it’s something the club could look at or would love to have on board.

  • We need more than sua. One thing I would say is herbie looked very disinterested on Friday.  They just resigned Averillo. Bostock played centre so where does that leave Averillo?  Mon for 7 weeks has been looking for June 30 options. Sounds like his to afraid to make a decision in case he gets ridiculed by fans. We needled plays weeks ago.

    • Again, the ones who are available to sign would want more than just this year and we only want them for this year to cover gaps.

The ones worthwhile clubs seldom release.

  • FILTER

    2026 (Position)

    Centre OFF CONTRACT

Jake Averillo, Rocco Berry, Wilson De Courcey, Dane Gagai, Moala Graham-Taufa, Delouise Hoeter, Richard Penisini, Will Penisini, Brian Pouniu, Jesse Ramien, Solomone Saukuru, Tommy Talau, Enari Tuala

    Five-eighth OFF CONTRACT

Daly Cherry-Evans, Jack Cole, Tyson Gamble, Chanel Harris-Tavita, Zac Herdegen, Te Maire Martin, Kodi Nikorima, Josh Rogers, Trent Toelau, Cody Walker, Jake Clifford

    Winger OFF CONTRACT

Jesse Arthars, Michael Asomua, Braidon Burns, William Craig, Siale Faeamani, Mathew Feagai, Thomas Jenkins, Sione Katoa, Nathan Lawson, Greg Marzhew, Marcelo Montoya, Jaxson Paulo, Jeral Skelton, Sam Stonestreet, Jed Stuart, Jonathan Sua, Jake Tago, Murray Taulagi, Christian Tuipulotu, Daniel Tupou

Surely there is some backs in this lot we can sign for 2027.

    • Are both Penisini's off contract? I thought we resigned Will last year

      • Not sure but hopefully we haven't.

  • Rocco berry is decent

    • Always injured unfortunately

      • True. But if he can stay fit, which of course you can't predict, he is a damn fast threat. You watch his highlights it's 90% him setting up his winger. Which is good. Plus warriors have Ali playing good footy so they might be likely to let Rocco go.

    • Just a defensive Centre.

"I lived there for about 10 years and actually met my wife there. Best 10 years of my life to date. It's changed a lot since I lived there but it's a beautiful place to live and an extremely lovely climate. "

"Yeah he's been awesome, EA. Created space / overlap in all of Knights first 4 tries. It sucks, but is good to see what he can do with strike outside backs & players like Ponga / Sharpe who support."
