Apparently the case today has been delayed due to Parramatta and Melbourne engaging in deep talks to get a deal done. Negotiations had ran overnight. What is hilarious is people on social media believe Parramatta know they will lose so are making a deal. Ummmm no this is the NRL not wanting to be involved and not wanting their stuff leaked so the heavies are on Melbourne to get something done.
The rumour at the moment is it could be a three way trade. Jesse Ramien's name has been floating around as Cronulla want cap space in order to front load contracts for next year. One rumour suggested Melbourne would get both Lomax and Ramien, therefore Melbourne would be more open to releasing a player if they get two. Now could that be for example Howarth since Ramien will be one Centre? Maybe but it seems a deal could be struck at the 11th hour.
A separate report also suggests the call from Parra for Lomax not to play Round 1 could still be on table.

Cause people think worse case scenario to prepare for it thinking it will happen. The way we can be confident to subpoena the NRL we ain't bending.
I just re read my last sentence, maybe it's simply a case of the Storm don't have what we want. That's why negotiations have been challenging and the court intervention is necessary to ratify the release agreement. Maybe we have legitimate interests elsewhere?
Melb can swap deal any player they want on paper but the player must absolutely want to come to us, or else we face the huge issue with the Players Union.
they already said something about the three players we asked in swap not wanting to switch I do remember reading that.
thought these court proceedings were always about us testing the legitimacy of the contract; and swap we want (seems Melb are acknowledging contract now by trying to accommodate a swap deal hehe) . They already said they (Melb) could not do however, so to your point Adam, re our interests elsewhere, why don't we just go to who can satisfy the contract terms now and Lomax just goes there? He isn't lost to nrl per Vlandys wishes :)
Cause Lomax it seems only wants to go to the storm. Hence why we are where we are. I said the other day, what we are doing is gaining us time, improving our negotiating position and shining a media light on all the contract bullshit.
But if storm are trying to negotiate a swap aren't they then agreeing our contract is valid? And if it's valid and per Beach's words, there are fifteen other clubs out there to talk turkey with, or them with us?
Did the storm adhere to the release agreement when they entered into a provisional contract with Lomax that was lodged with the nrl without our knowledge or consent? They're negotiating now because it's the only play they've got and external pressure is being applied.
Sure we can talk with other clubs down the track if that's they way this goes, but we've got to deal with the storm first and foremost.
Oh they have what we want but not willing to give what we want. Thats why it stalled. Now I reckon NRL are saying to Storm get it done and Ramien popping into their laps for nothing helps.
The Storm should follow V'Landys request that the clubs forget about what they want and put the NRL first. So come on Storm cough up a fair player, get this deal over the line and put the NrL first. Save Lomax from leaving the NRL.
Melbourne and the NRL are worried about Zac's welfare. I hope Zac's newly acquired digs help him to relax.
In breaking news, Parra has knocked back the 200k and settled on 150k instead.
In all seriousness, we have a plethora of forwards and don't need anymore especially a dud like Blore.
It has to be a quality outside back or nothing.
Is it Blore or Bore
