Dylan who?

C'mon down the Volkswagen!

I wouldn't offer DB 2 cents more to remove the clauses in his contract. I hope JR actually flips the script and says you're free to go now if your not happy.

"Just don't drag this out for the next 10 weeks, you are not a bonafide marquee player as your manager and ex coach has pumped your tyres and ego up with, actually you are on massive overs, be grateful and put the chewing gum and attitude away and start repaying and earning it"

The Volkswagen is probably only on $200k

    • Nailed it Wiz.

The King is dead long live the Prince.

The Prince of Paradise hahahahahha Iongi was good in attack. Positionaly in defence we will have some issues. Hope he works it out quickly.

The money from RCG and Gutho has been well distributed to provide some real depth to this team. Time will tell if we miss them.

  • Watching Brown at fulltime with the boys, Moses & Lomax, body language was close. Dont think he will leave. He gets on with Ryles and trainers well too

    • Let's hope their competitiveness rubs off on him. New leadership with some runs on the board might be exactly what the Dr ordered for Dill.

    • The right side is pretty much set the left side god knows whose playing left centre and  left backrower with JAC eventually finding his place on the left wing.

Combinations are the key right now I'm not sure who is going to be playing outside and around DB.

Volkman was good with the ball but don't get to excited yet it's without it we need to be as excited that's the key for Parra forget the attack defense is where it's at

      • I watched his defence pretty closely for that reason Coryn, he never shirked anything, haven't an opinion on technique yet, but gee he is built like a hooker, If he plays as a 14 and Riley Smith starts it gives us great coverage for a back or forward being injured. Whilst Volkman can maybe only cover the halves in the backline, the mobility of the structure can allow many changes. He would be a natural cover for the 9, hard to imagine Riley Smith not playing 80 minutes just the same, but Riley can still stay on and not play 9. Of course with a player like Riley HIA's are not out of the question, I guess?

Joash Papilli is the problem in terms of fitting. I still think i would play him on the wing waiting for JAC return? After that lets see what is happening.

Coryn did you pick up where we were a bit weak in the middle and our edges were not covering, respect to Tuilagi, maybe a bit harsh on him.

        • Newcastle were poor last night so no I couldn't get a fair gage on where we are at in the middle.I thought we looked fit we were physical in patches.

The only concern I had was when Newcastle got a run of possession we didn't show any real resilience and we leaked points.DB and Volkman got caught on the edges squaring up on lead runners as we lost control of the ruck and they scored.Keep an eye on it,ruck control when we don't get numbers in and we get rolled how we react on the edges.

Theres plenty there though the depth and like you say the ability for players to slot in and do different jobs is a bonus.

Iongi is going to be good for us in yardage already he's an upgrade over Gutho.

  • BA who? Gutho who?

  • No doubt DB is the better all round player but  with the price difference (albeit if signed on as a starting five right volkman would get a massive pay rise) it is couldn't be the end of the world if he leaves.

    • PS, you need to understand Dyllan did not get out of 3rd gear last night. An entirely different type of "clutch" player, the type you just cannot replace.....short memories you guys.

      • "clutch"player LOL clutching at straws again I see..

You ploppa have on 1 gear only and that's dumb!  You think DB is elite and can destroy opposition teams on his own?? Just like Thurston, John's, sterlo, Cliff Lyons, Terry Lamb the list goes on and on and on ...his nowhere near  that level.
