I would play Simonsson at centre over Penisini as he is faster and a better defender.
We need 4-5 forwards before we need a winger, he would be a luxury we really can't afford at the expense of signing good forwards.

If he is not good enough for the chooks then he is not good enough for Parramatta , the guy has too much Paul Carriage in his game .
I think he is a lot better than Paul Carriage but I am not sure where he fits if we play Lomax as a winger. That said he gives us a backline that is all speed.
Frankie, any idea why Roosters would let him go....is there something we don't know?
He is far too up and down , he can do Paul Carriage like mistakes and is hopeless in defence . He may have speed but he has zero speed in the brain department , he needs to kept as far away from Parramatta as possible .
I'd sign him and let Addo-Carr go. No need to have both.
I agree with someone above that if anything I'd sign a left centre if we have to play with the backline. Even then though I think the left hand side of the backline is primed for Alemaddine and Richie Penisini to take over it by 2027 to be honest.
The Fox is in a different league to Young. No comparison.

But like if JAC doesn't renew and we want another speedy option I could understand it. I still wouldn't go for Young if I was Ryles mind you.
