Dogs now heavy favourites for Galvin.

Seems like the bulldogs are going to sign Galvin and stash him in their system, unsure why they are doing it with all the halves they have at their disposal but is what it is. Next target for the eels should be Sandon Smith should cost far less and not as much baggage.

  • If Galvin decides to go to the Dogs, good for him and them, the Eels will move on.

As previously stated by others in this blog, there are other options who would be cheaper (possibly better), leaving the Eels with more money to buy some other players as well.

  • There's two mindsets where people allow themselves to get taken advantage of, when they are desperate and when they are fearful. So long as we as a club don't allow that to happen we will be fine.

    • That's a good analysis Adam, I don't doubt that Ryles wants him but I agree no need to engage desperation or fear in his circumstances. Interestingly if Stacey is the lynch pin from a dogs perspective then he could be a handy pick up for the Eels as a utility, he can play any position in the backline.
