I actually hope Parramatta don't get Galvin as what he will cost does not match the talent he will bring.
Between Longi and Papalia we have a 6 and a 1 who will take far less money out of the cap and if I had to choose between Galvin as a player and Longi as player id take Longi 100% , this kid is all class in everything he does.
Galvin has proved zero and to pay a kid 700k + who has done zero is a huge risk because he could easily become another Dylan Brown , Parramatta need to stop paying big dollars for potential because as a club we have had no luck in this department. We need at least one top shelf centre and a few top shelf to medium shelf forwards and not a kid who has proven very little .
History has shown for decades that Parramatta do not have much luck when it comes to paying big money for players from others clubs , Parramatta have succees when they develop their own juniors or buy good young players from others clubs on the cheap end develop them.
Galvin is a 400k player at best and not a cent more , Parramatta need to get back to what has given them success in the past and paying big money for purely potential has failed most of the time for Parramatta .

He's got 8 try assists in 10 games and averages close to 200m a game at 19. 700k is just the standard amount any decent half demands these days. Fogarty just got 650k from manly
I'm happy to have Galvin join us.....just as long as there spots left for both Twidle and Lorenzo. These two will be guns in the future.
I see Twidle getting a crack at left centre next year and would always make the right call on drawing and passing to the Fox or taking them on. A great decision maker in the style of Semi! Young blokes like Tuivata and Luca, among others will be needing an upgrade, so even though we'll be loaded with cash next year we'll go thru it quickly.
Also by giving our young guys a chance to make 1st grade it will inspire other juniors to stick with the Eels instead of being lured away.
Tell you what Tuivaiti Moretti Paulo Hopgood is a nice middle rotation a good mix of size leg speed and ball playing in those 4 and they all have an offload to.
I really want to see this Lorenzo play. Massive wraps on him. IS just a half or can he play other positions? Twiddle could end up playing a Dylan walker type roll or playing on an edge late on in his career.
Yer after watching the last 3 or 4 weeks it does make you think we have plenty of talent here already see what happens I trust JR knows what he needs but I think we would be fine without him
Rumour that we are in talks with tino. So what happens there.
Pretty confident , If he manages to get a release and comes to Sydney it'll be to the Roosters.
you know fong , especially after that solid win last night , both in defence and attack , room for improvements, origin duties etc let's say NO , in fact I wouldn't be all surprised if Dylan brown reneges on that Newcastle contract, kinda have a gut feeling Brown is not quite enjoying his football at the moment might I add .
If it's a 4 year deal with NO Rachet clauses could be a steal at 750k with the reported increase in cap.
im a bit iffy on him too to be honest , but as someone said he has won games too which is more than we can say for brown and that's what you want a half to be capable of
He's signed and delivered can never have enough talent in the team.
