I actually hope Parramatta don't get Galvin as what he will cost does not match the talent he will bring.
Between Longi and Papalia we have a 6 and a 1 who will take far less money out of the cap and if I had to choose between Galvin as a player and Longi as player id take Longi 100% , this kid is all class in everything he does.
Galvin has proved zero and to pay a kid 700k + who has done zero is a huge risk because he could easily become another Dylan Brown , Parramatta need to stop paying big dollars for potential because as a club we have had no luck in this department. We need at least one top shelf centre and a few top shelf to medium shelf forwards and not a kid who has proven very little .
History has shown for decades that Parramatta do not have much luck when it comes to paying big money for players from others clubs , Parramatta have succees when they develop their own juniors or buy good young players from others clubs on the cheap end develop them.
Galvin is a 400k player at best and not a cent more , Parramatta need to get back to what has given them success in the past and paying big money for purely potential has failed most of the time for Parramatta .

Senor Fong I think Galvin will be an 'X' factor to this youthful team that JR is building. He is the perfect fit for us and I think he will do great things at the Eels.
I like the energy he brings, the off the cuff stuff that he does. He will give our attack a steriod shot.
I'm trusting in Ryles in whatever he wants to do regarding Galvin. Ryles knows the style he wants to play and whether Galvin fits into his system.
Ryles isn't going to pay overs aswell and he won't be entering into any 10 year deal.
I think he's worth around the 750 mark, has a remarkable passing and good short kicking game, and also has a very high ceiling.
Let's just trust in whatever Ryles is thinking
I think he'll sign a 3 to 4 year deal on 800k
Halves is also a specialist position, and with other teams coming into the NRL shortly, halves will become a huge commodity.
What has she achieved or done to warrant 700+ a year ? All he has is potential the same way Dylan Brown had potential and DB had been failure when you look at the money he had been on st Parramatta over the years .
If Galvin was that great he would have a long line up of club's chasing him but doesn't

I think 700k to 750 is a fair price. He pretty much won games single handedly whilst at the Tigers.
The problem is, people like Gould have talked him up so much and regarded him a superstar. Gould is a sneaky prick. He's just driving up his price to favour the Bulldogs as whoever signs him, will now be paying overs. Look at the Tigers offering him a million a year
I don't think Ryles will fall into paying him ridiculous money
Parramatta being Parramatta will most likely pay a ridiculous amount for Galvin because we have nothing else to offer him so Parramatta will get that raw end of the deal like always.
That's the going rate now of most halves who are nrl level unless you want to play a Dean Hawkins level guy in that spot. But I'm sure the club will way it all up
If you look at Brown who's on the best part of a mil but Fongy , I'd say 750 is a fair price for Galvin. Think of it this way , if we sign him we are saving about 200k a year and getting a better or at minimum on par player than Brown.
We ain't signing him for that amount you've mentioned..
You definitely don't know your footy then most teams have the halves locked up.. you can't just Franky Fong them out the door!
Gus is willing to pay him 750 Frankie I mean if we are paying like what chief is saying I don't think we've done to bad.I think we'll get off lightly if you ask me because there's only 2 teams in the running.
