  • If Newcastle have reached out, use that as leverage. They are desperate. A great NFL GM, Ernie Accorsi when he orchestrated the Eli Manning/Philip Rivers trade in the 2004 NFL draft always said don't call first as that would mean the team on the other end have the advantage as those who reached out are more desperate.

Hastings, please. I understand in that they feel a half for a half, plus want Hastings cap off for this season. But Parra need forwards, Newcastle are slim on forwards so that is a sticking point. KPP, Lucas, Cant are good options, younger options like; Wil Sullivan or Jermaine McEwan as well.

Hastings, regardless of his issues of personality at a club, i would not have as he is fine but really inconsistent.

    • They're also reaching out after a loss, we definitely have leverage here.

Personally i'd rather us keep Dylan to avoid getting the spoon.

      • I mean we have no reason what so ever to let Brown go unless we get really good compensation. We really do not need to let Brown go now. However, i feel we are also in a position where we can entertain it. Though i will say i feel Newcastle are also not in the position that needs Brown right now. But they may feel having Brown at 7 gets them to finals to make up for their bad pack.

I know many here do not like KPP, i am not a massive fan but realistically he is an option as he is better than what we have, off-contract and enough cap money where Newcastle could pay for Brown. But i would get 2 players minimum for Brown. I would rather Lucas of course but he will not be let go.

Since we got Walker, i would not bother with getting say Gamble or Cogger in a trade.

  • Let Brown go we get Thompson thats a big yes for me

    • You realise that Thopson has signed for dogs next year, don't you Arnold?

  • Jackson Hastings ahahahah

  • If (according to the other blog) we have tabled a large offer and that is accepted, then the Knights can cough up a few decent FG players on positions we need for this year.

Cant will be dumped for Lucas when he is back. Thompson is not in their plans for 26. Plus a 5/8.

    • I do not mind Cant. Bloke can play anywhere and is a worker.

  • Only way we let him go early is they give us Best
