  • Wouldn't take him for any less than $900k.

Does this mean we need another Hock blog?

    • Lol. Was spotted at the airport after the second Ashes Test. Guaranteed now.

  • no, very average and we need better

    • Yeah he's fine as a bench option like say that 2022 team and we lost Oregon Kaufusi, he would be a nice replacement.

We need starters. Curran can play a role in this squad, but we have too many of that type.

      • He wont be an improvement to our full strength line up. He won't join us to be a depth player either. We need a middles for sure. But only:

        • an elite middle or someone on the track to be an elite midle.
        • a cheap middle happy to play mainly nsw cup

We do not need any of those average forwards right now that would want decent coin as you say.

        • Agree EA, this wouldn't be a great signing considering we just got JDB. It's either elite or depth at this stage.
Happy to spend money on and elite  player and improve our quality, but also need some value for our depth... Curran is neither depth or elite.

          • If it's for 2027 when Curran is definitely available, he could be a good addition. We have quite a few forwards who potentially won't be here in 2027:

            de Belin (36 in 2027)
            Guymer (23)
            Mataele (25)
            Paulo (34)
            Tuilagi (28)
            Walker (33)

I hope we keep Guymer, due to his age. But Paulo, Walker and JDB will all be getting pretty old by the end of next year. Do we want to keep them a year too long? Curran will be 28 that year. Still in his prime.

  • I think we have his body type position covered with Moretti,  Hopgood and Guymer being of a similar mould.   What we need is the Lindsay Smith, Keaon Koloamatangi, or Liam Henry type taller bigger forwards.

  • No thanks. Keoan asking for 900k. Threw juniors money at him
