The player of the series was on the bench, played 24 minutes in the first game. You fellas are used to coming up with excuses. It's not the first time we have been told how good NSW are, and then QLD come out and TOWEL you.
Deaden made his own luck, backing up, backing himself and brilliant defence, Clearey as you say waited for others to do something. Clearey again failed in SOO. The whole NSW team was out played.
The MIGHTY QLD simply to good and understand what it takes to be the BEST team in Australia.
At least Qld rectified their game 1 performance, they dropped DCE. Cleary is a great club player but, as far as origin goes, he's another Mitch Pearce. Unless Cleary dominates origin for the next few years, he should never be spoken about as an immortal. Kenny and Sterling have won 4 premierships the same as Cleary, but they also dominated in reps.
Most aren't ready for this conversation but he's overrated and the pure definition of a system player. The funny thing is he will be the first picked again for origin next year

But that's what the game is an organised game of chess.
Obviously a good player but history will show he didn't have another level. No chance of being an immortal now and that's crazy considering all his GF wins.
I agree 100% i would pick Katoa he young really good player
There is no way i pick Moses and Clearly as i said its a young man game look at QLD they drop DEC and pick young Dearen and won 2
I think half the side sitting on thin fence
And i can tell you now i bet next year QLD have 2 home games not like DUMB NSW HAVE 2 AWAY GAMES 1 HOME

The days of either Sydney or Brisbane having two games in one series are over. The NRL / ARLC are selling one game each series to the highest bidder between Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. Eventually, that will be expanded to Auckland.

They say the same about Steve Edge. Dominated at club level, but never really stood out at rep level.
