Yes we got him for a steal but it wasn't really my point. JAC is an elite rep player that's played origin and for Aus and he had an immediate impact on Russell. We have offloaded highly paid players and filtered through some good juniors and decent journeyman and saved money. We now need to splash on some elite talent and experience to support these younger talented kids. Melbourne had Grant, Munster, Hughes and Pap all on 1 million plus. The only million dollar player we have is Moses. Surely we have the coin to have a splash

Just for clarification, I'm not taking aim at you or your comments. I'm saying that managing a playing roster isn't as easy as some suggest, there's a lot of moving pieces at any one time.
I wholeheartedly agree with your take on juniors, there's no point in delaying. Lorenzo and Brown need to be in the side now so we know where we stand moving forward.
Adam, the proof is in the pudding. We currently have a bottom rung roster. You can deflect all you want because Sarantinos and o'neill are both proven failures.
If you don't agree, please explain why Parramatta has a bottom 4 top 30

What makes either of them a failure? I'm after something more concrete than your opinion or that of some journalist. If you've got a set of performance criteria that they have failed to meet let's hear it.
Hes had what 8 years and at no stage have we looked like having a premiership roster tbh. Actually I think BA and Ryles have overachieved. I just don't see our recruitment and retention heading in a positive direction under MON. We need someone with more gravitas to get deals done
And don't forget Utokimanu was let go and Khafusi. Two proven juniors. And we have the worst roster in the nrl. Then people want me to explain why o'neill and Sarantinos are both proven failures.
Sarantinos calls the shots on who the head of football should be meaning he is failing the club
He's had enough time. It's constantly 1 step forward 2 steps back. The club has resources, we need to recruit the best talent off the field also. I don't care where they get a general manager from. It could be NFL or EPL for all I care but he has to be a killer. I really like the cut of Braith Anasta though.
Angry eel you are 1 million percent correct. The people who still support O'neill and Sarantinos attack the posts we make, but they have zero evidence for their claims that they are doing a good job. Its absolute bs.
Both Sarantinos and O’Neill must be sacked immediately

To expect a GM or CEO to overrule our head coach on team selections, rotations, final roster decisions or to blow up the cap lacks pragmatism and realism.
If you don't have faith in the coach, they're the first in the firing line, because in most clubs they hold the strongest voice in R&R and they're the face of the shopfront.
And in our club they definitely do. Same at the Panthers.
Have a listen to someone like Mark Bouris or Matt Cameron. They don't meddle in coaching affairs. Bouris doesn't even meddle in footy affairs.
Gus is probably a bit different as the most powerful administrator and GM in the game.
Not sure what you guys are expecting. But it ain't realistic.
This is not correct and you know it hoe. To say the entire recruitment team headed by o'neill are nothing but puppets because the current roster failures are squarely on Ryles and before that BA is the biggest bunch of crap I've heard.
Cmon hoe, be realistic.
So you're saying the entire failure of the club comes down to one person - the coach. Mate grow up.
The roster and cap managment at each club is dictated by the head of football, the recruitment team and the coaching staff. All headed by Sarantinos who answers to the board, and o'neill being in charge for 8 years has to be accountable
"You're manipulating my words, Chief. Fair dinkum.
Stefano is on record that he left because BA had RCG and Paulo, and he wasn't a big part of the rotation plan.
And who do you think had Matt Arthur lined up as the next big thing, which meant BA…"
"I'd love to see Lorenzo debut. Now. However, you can respect Ryles being protective. Worried with injuries and changing combinations, and losing, it'll potentially cause more damage than it's worth. High risk for not that much reward. Lorenzo will…"
"We've all had jobs that have required standards, things that are measurable and can be directly attributable to our own performance. Not things that could be effected by external influences.
I don't know, and I don't claim to know, but I reckon…"

Just speaking on MON here is a list of failures
Let Mahoney go
Let Papalii go
resigned Matterson
resigned Lane
Missed Galvin
missed Keon
botched DB contract
Signed Josh Hodgson
signed Morgan harper
Just to name a few.
