A Moses / Burton halves combination should work well. Burton for 2 or 3 years on a contract similar to or below the reported $875,000 per season he is currently on.
You guys are optimistic man I'm telling you Burton is getting over 7 fighures if he is released and it's multi year and the above plus.Perth would be the team for me there about to get dispensation from the nrl and they'll be able to blow away Sydney teams with there offer years TPAs and just straight up salary I doubt many if any Sydney teams will be able to match what they offer.
Quite simple really there having the same issues as the Dolphins, remember when they were associated and struggled to find players same same with Perth and now the nrl is stepping in because they can now see what advantages tax free salary and TPAs have up in PNG.
The Dolphins we're actually lucky also as they had an established player base already setup.A team like Perth is starting from ground zero being a minority out in WA and having to fight over talent with PNG 2 teams coming in quick succession.
Interesting to see what the nrl come up with dispensation wise for Perth that's the curve ball here not yet on the table. But I'd suggest if clubs like us are to sign a Burton or alike they had better move quickly before risking getting blown out of the water by the mentioned.
The only caveat to that is if he wants to stay in Sydney with a young family. For me we desperately need to sign Burton or Farnworth and I just don't care if we pay "overs".
"You're manipulating my words, Chief. Fair dinkum.
Stefano is on record that he left because BA had RCG and Paulo, and he wasn't a big part of the rotation plan.
And who do you think had Matt Arthur lined up as the next big thing, which meant BA…"
"I'd love to see Lorenzo debut. Now. However, you can respect Ryles being protective. Worried with injuries and changing combinations, and losing, it'll potentially cause more damage than it's worth. High risk for not that much reward. Lorenzo will…"
"We've all had jobs that have required standards, things that are measurable and can be directly attributable to our own performance. Not things that could be effected by external influences.
I don't know, and I don't claim to know, but I reckon…"
"This is not correct and you know it hoe. To say the entire recruitment team headed by o'neill are nothing but puppets because the current roster failures are squarely on Ryles and before that BA is the biggest bunch of crap I've heard.
Cmon hoe, be…"

JR has already declined on the Xerri interest he did that a few months ago when the unrest at the Dogs first came about.
Which means his probably negotiating Hahahaha. Xerri went close to breaking the record for tackle bust last night.

875000 is too much for him. I won't go above 700.
I misread. Burton is reported to be on $750,000 for this year and next. Anything around that figure would be ok.
Dogs would pitch in for next year you would assume. $750k is a decent price for an experienced 5/8 with rep level experience and a premiership winner.
Though to get him over i reckon you need to go $850k. Which even then i feel is not too bad.

I know that Coryn, it's same as people saying he would be happy with Centre when he can get 5/8 money.
Im saying same as you.
Although, Perth has this money, yet signed nobody. Why?
