Burton goes alright. He's not the most gifted ball player or creative player but he has a good running game, good defender, and a very good kicking. Next to Moses and Iongi he will play his role well. Just need a decent back rower and centre outside of him.
Agreed. DB was never a natural right to left kicker and adding a left footer gives us a dynamic we haven't had in a long time. If true Burton is a cracking buy. I said a while ago when everyone was saying he would go to Perth for the coin that it was a big move for a guy with a young family. It's possible he is very comfortable in moving to the centres if Lorenzo develops into a must pick. Burton would also be a great backrower in the modern game
"Google obviously doesn't listen to Anasta's podcasts either. It was a while ago. I'll find the link if I have time (it won't make a difference anyway). You guys are only $1m off not including TPAs."

Well Lorenzo doesn't take off if the plan is to try and move Burton to Centre. So Lorenzo is there already then you lose Burton as a quality player.
If Ryles goes Burton, that is his future 6 I reckon. Remember, Ryles went for Galvin with Lorenzo at the club.
longfin what do you mean best years are behind him at 26

Nope. He is a centre that can kick.
Fair, though clubs will pay him as a 6. Let's see him with a proper 7 though. Who knows.
Can i suggest you guys watch last night.....Christ I cannot believe you would not look at this gift horse....offer him 1m before someone else does!
He was playing the Storm (who are playing terribly) with both Grant and Munster out - and the Storms second half was shockingly bad.
Credit where it's due, he played very well as did Kiraz and Galvin. I wouldn't pay $1m for any of them though.
So after one game? And he was playing like a fullback
Burton is a true left side player. He and JAC had a lethal combination at the Dogs. I wouldn't be surprised if JAC recommended him to Ryles.
