If MoN gets sacked he would have limited options for employment...like, he couldn'f even do parcel-delivery with his inability to get anyone to sign for anything ever
We'd better all stop talking about o'neill because we might upset the fairies who support himself and Sarantinos, but cannot provide evidence to support their narrative other than belittling those who know that its the number 1 issue with the club atm
Chiefy Chiefy where have i ever said we shouldn't sack either of the two YOU continually referr to on every blog that comes up . Im beginning to think one or both must have put the hard word on Mrs Chiefy or something . Most of us probably agree with you but to have it said blog after blog after blog just gets like a youse by date on a food package. See the thing is what we say on here means diddly squat to the powers that be at the club .As i said bud just chill a bit
Burton is worth huge money, and is certainly already on huge money, which is the only reason the Dogs would let him go. With his kicking game, he would be wasted (and overpaid) at centre.
If Ryles is going after Burton that means Lorenzo isn't ready, I mean if Lorenzo was ready to really play NRL he would have debuted against the dogs instead of playing journey man Volkman. Also the players were shifting along means we are about to make a few signings. Walker could be gone, and some other player was getting shopped around at our club. I think Mattos money will be free to spend as well. So we could be very close to making a signing or a few. Never know what this clubs signs man.
Lorenzo Talataina has some potential but realistically, he might never be ready for the NRL. He is a project player. I mean, if he was as good as Sanders or Talagi, he wouldn't have agreed to the deal he signed, which included the first two years in the development list. He isn't top 30 until 2028 and almost certainly on minimum salary! A high quality SG Ball half with genuine NRL potential would never sign a three year deal for so little money. They would have NRL clubs throwing decent money at them, including the opportunity to go straight into the top 30 (and get paid as such).
Every NRL club would throw Talataina style contracts (2 years dev + 1 year minimum top 30 salary) at all their quality SG Ball kids, but the best ones would turn them down because their managers know they can get something better. That's why Talagi and Sanders were off contract when they were. Talagi would be on over half a million a year and Sanders wouldn't be on much less. If they were still at our club on development deals they should be suing their managers for negligence. There just wasn't as much demand for Talataina because of his size. He might never make it in the NRL. Talagi and Sanders were sure things.
Totally agree, as Burt Kenny said if you have potential and a cup of coffee your worth the value of the coffee, don't talk about juniors as the 2nd coming, they've obviously all got potential, otherwise they wouldn't be there. If they are super special get em in grade, we are now in a position to progress we have to buy what we need, another 2-3 years of waiting on " potential " isn't good enough, though in truth not sure Burton is worth 1 million
Google obviously doesn't listen to Anasta's podcasts either. It was a while ago. I'll find the link if I have time (it won't make a difference anyway). You guys are only $1m off not including TPAs.

Absolutely correct
