I'm sick and tired of reading and hearing about the NRL's fat war chest.

Here is a tip for new NRL CEO Todd Greenberg. Try using it!
One of Greenberg's first tasks should be trying to lure Jarryd Hayne and Sonny Bill Williams back to the NRL.
And the club that needs those two superstars right now is the Sydney Roosters, yet to register a win this year.
Williams appears keen on a comeback to rugby league while Hayne may also return if new 49ers head coach Chip Kelly moves in a different direction.
Both would want big bucks though to return. So let's give it to them.
NRL management just signed a $1.9 billion broadcasting deal. Let's free up some cash and lure back the best athletes - athletes rugby league nurtured and developed.
The Roosters are crashing and burning and they want Williams and Hayne.
The money is sitting in there in a war chest. For goodness sake, let's dig in and make a few withdrawals.

Canterbury is expected to finally announce the retention of star halfback Moses Mbye sometime this week.
Moses all but agreed to a new deal at Belmore before Christmas but the player and club still needed to settle on a few clauses.
The Bulldogs refused to prematurely announce the deal publicly until it was signed, sealed and delivered.
That should be in the next few days.

Parramatta had 6,500 officials members turn out for last week's match - the most ever.
Eels fans have been bashed about this year - on and off the field.
But no-one can doubt the passions of their members, who just keep turning up.

ST GEORGE Illawarra's under 20s were irate over their treatment at Shark Park last Sunday week.
Due to dressing room restrictions, the young stars had to spend halftime on the playing field in the heat, rather than being ushered into the sheds.
And then, at fulltime, the rookie Dragons had to wait around on the field for no less than an hour until first grade started.
They were filthy. And rightly so..

SHOOSH: Which player with very little NRL experience signed with a rival club for a whopping $350,000 a season? And he's winger.

SPOTTED I: Laurie Daley with family and friends in his hometown of Junee.
SPOTTED II: Balmain legends Steve Roach and Paul Sironen at Leichhardt Oval last week.
SPOTTED III: Liam Knight, the rising Manly star charged last week with high-range drink-driving and speeding, labouring on a job site at Newport.

Bulldog must have had a few sherberts....
How many news corp, journo's told us last year Hayne will be a rooster in 2016 Looks like the roosters gambled on Hayne letting some good players go. I personally think Hayne wouldn't go to the roosters especially now that they have peaked and continue to fall. Robbo could be the new Ricky Stuart.
Man there's no need to to swear and calling someone a filthy name. The new Ricky Stuart. i would be insulted...
knowing us, probably
lol, Parra are in trouble because of a few bucks supposedly being thrown at Hayne and some others yet Ritchie believes the NRL should be using it's war chest to lure TWO superstars, at the cost of about 3 million per year for both, to The Roosters, the club that has won the last 3 minor premierships.
That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever read from Bulldog, and that's sayin' something!!
Surely The Titans, Knights or Tigers would be better served by such a talent injection if that was the path the NRL wanted to take.
Ah, who gives a shit, JH would never play for any club other than his beloved Parramatta anyway :))
