Brown limited minutes

Not sure what ryles was thinking here. If you are going to push brown out of the halves but him in the centres for Russell. I can understand him wanting to adjust to life without brown but fuck me you play him or you don't. Not this half assed play him at hooker for 15mins.

      • Hopgood annoys the crap out of me but did he even drop the ball today?

  • I'm surprised it's taken this long to take some form of affirmative action with Dylan. Should have been done much sooner in my view.

  • Honestly I can't wait until the off season to see what moves we make. Come next year I hope our team is more organised and know which position the players are playing at, unlike this year having Zac in centres, Moses injury and removing half our forwards mid year. I would prefer to go on the market for a 6 like Adam Doueihi then in a couple years bring Lorenzo Talataina into the 6 role

  • Anyone know what happened to the Jack De Belin signing, haven't heard a single thing about it from the media or coaches. And where is Ryan Matterson, he's still with the Eels till the end of next year, might as well use him for a few games

    • We are all wondering the same thing. Fact that a 10 day cooling off period was mentioned, which is accustom to all deals unless both parties agree to wave it, like Da Silva deal would have done that to get deal done in a day.

It's been what 3 weeks and nothing? I understand there are times where the club takes time to announce the deal, no reason to announce it really to be fair. Like 2018, we all knew we signed Shaun Lane for 2019 but the club didn't announce it til end of the year. Might be same here where they just wait for whatever reason.

Or could have been a factor of reniging the 10 day cooling off to stay at Dragons.

      Who knows.

      • Well the Dra-ons fans lost their shit over the club not offering him a contract, so maybe they decided to put something together for him.. who knows, it's weird., it was a weird left feild signing , and it's unfolded even more weird.

        • You are right Wiz, just a out of nowhere signing. I don't mind de Belin but at this time i felt we could strive higher. If we needed experience fair but we have Paulo and Williams in the pack.

You are right too that Dragons fans blasted the club for letting de Belin go, offer him a 1 year deal and he would jump at it.

  • If Ryles is going place all of his faith in average to above average rookies we are in some serious trouble.

We need some good recruiting mixed with the development of young talent. We honestly can't expect to emulate what the Panthers have achieved or what we did in the early 80s. That's a lightening strike that most clubs rarely see. To go all out on unrealised talent who may or not make it, IMO, will only succeed in extending our drought.

Im honestly starting to believe I will not see another premiership in my lifetime - 50 years currently. The club is obviously surrounded by people who only care about themselves or some people that simply have no idea.

    I think it's a bit of both.
