Great signing if we manage to land him, it's about time we landed a player in his prime that other clubs would also like to sign.
Yeah we can pat mon and the recruitment team on the back for signing decent players that have produced for the eels that weren't really highly sort after players in their prime like, longi, tds, smith, walker and Williams. Some people are happy with a low bar, successful clubs aren't but oh well.
Wonder if Keon can back out of his newly signed contract?

With new rules, due to DCE, he can't just say I'm reniging my deal. But let's be fair there are ways around it. He signed for Flanno, he has a clause in his deal. If he really wants to, who knows maybe he's content with his choice, he can get out if he tries hard enough.
Its sad reality but if we can take advantage of it, can set us up nicely for future.
I hope Petrus still has a path to FG. 3 year deal for Sua and Kautoga is still young. Petrus turns 19 this year so he could be ready next year IMO at least for a bench role
I think so, Kautoga signed til 2027. Ryles has shown if you are better he will play you. Petrus, if great, would be cheaper to keep 2028 onwards than Kautoga and might be the route to go. We have so many forwards off contract in 2027, Petrus will have a spot I reckon. Kid is only 19 thankfully so he can play a couple of years playing off the bench before he gets antsy.
I do like Kautoga once he gets the errors down. Runs hard and solid defender. He improves each week so happy to keep him long term
