"Richard your someone that's been watching him properly as you say. His attacking upside is great. But are you worried by the fact his defence and high ball decision is not improving. Plus the difference between his good and bad game is still big "
"I cant blame Apa for testing the market. League is a gladiatorial sport and your next game could be your last. You train all your life for a major payday. Look at poor Hayze Dunster ( done just when he made the team) or Stephen Arthur-Miller…"
"Other news talentina has moved from 22nd man to 20th man. Think debut is looking more likely."
"Again missing the point lol. I am just saying middles and outside backs are the more immediate concern that backrow."

Our record of buying Dragons players recently hasn't been the best. Lomax, Debellin, Poore.......ahhh fark I'll take what I can get.
Steve Edge was probably the best
Beau Scott.
Ridell
Scott came from Newcastle technically, he did play for Dragons but left for Newcastle before getting him.
Would you say Justin was a "Poore" signing? ........
I'll see myself out.
If there is another backrower that the club should chase is Nathan Cayless son Eddie Cayless. Bloke is a genuine gun for Roosters SG ball team. Unfortunately Nathan did not want him at eels to avoid any Nepotism etc. But his son is a backrower than can play lock too at a high level. Wonder if we can sort something out
He will probably play lock the u19 blues team with a backrow rotation of Smith (roosters), Latu (panthers) and petrus
We were rubbish in that forgetable 1st half 20-6 down h/t.
Two different strategys, while the dogs ran rampant thru the middle we chose to go wide.
They changed tactic in tthe 2nd stanza and copied the doggies going down the middle and got the reward. Different team. Petrus is too good for Ball and showed how good he is leading the way while Bamblett played his usual tough style cutting thru the middle. He belies his lean build with guts and skill.
Also showing out were Risati..Ryley Smith..Bloomfield and Vella.
I rewatched the start and the middle got exposed a couple times due to Koina and Talagi.
2 times Koina got beaten by footwork which resulted in half breaks. He will be disappointed with that and showed it during the game.Thankfully his second half was back to his normal self. More of a technical issue rather than effort.
However, for Ryda I felt his issues came with being lazy/effort. The first try dogs scored was his fault. He got beaten and then the next play Nunn, Talagi and Davis are literally standing behind of each other defending the line leaving our 9 isolated against the big dogs prop. Talagi should have been there. Another couple times in the first half that he got beaten. It was weird he was hitting really hard at times in defence but I would say repeat efforts let him down and rather it being fatigue I recon it was attitude.
Then 2 tries were also scored on Bamblett, Vella and Sorovi's edge and most of that was poor reads from all 3 of them. For one try Vella jamed in on Bamblett man to leave Sorovi posted 2 on 1. Than another try Sorovi just made that lazy intercept attempt when it was 2 on 2. Left the winger unmarked to score.
