What I'm thrilled about is that at least the Roosters won't be able to poach him for next year (as they were almost certain to do) and get even bloody stronger!

  Fuck the Roosters!

Would have been better if they signed him first

If they had, you'd never hear about this.

The timing of this is pretty funny. Earlier this morning NRL.COM had an article on how Xerri has been working with Roger Fabri and improved his speed (since taken down). Was it really his technique that improved his pace??? Hmmm...

That guy you just mentioned, I'm sure he's been linked to this kind of thing before.

Sure it wasn't doctor Ferrari, he's good at turning plodders into world beaters.

I doubt cronulla had any idea. If they had they surely wouldnt have released Josh Morris to the roosters.

A link would have been nice.

Tested positive in November last year but NRL only just got notified - nothing to see here - AY?

So when do they take the B sample? Plenty of time to get him clean enough to pass after SIX freeking months.

Cronulla Shark Xerri tests positive to performance-enhancing drugs

Cronulla superstar Bronson Xerri is facing a possible multi-year ban from the NRL after testing positive to banned substances.

The B sample is taken at the same time as the A sample. When testing the B sample your only hope is that if they have literally made a mistake when testing the A sample . . . . . B samples amost always come back with the same result - especially when the list of banned subbies found are as long as your arm.

Who was this blokes coach? Lance Armstrong?

Sorry Col - the news was so hot off the press that I forgot!
