Braith podcast.

Was listening to Braith Anastas podcast and he said he's actually spoken to Rylesy, club is definitely interested in sandon smith but he also mentioned Ryles was looking at another player but he stopped short of saying who it was. Sounded like a big name but he said he better not go there. Interesting

  • It is not this name but one name that is really left field i would look at if i was MON and Ryles is AJ Brimson. Bloke is signed til 2028 or 2029 i believe but he is being mucked around at Gold Coast. He is a 6 but is mainly at Centre. With Kini, Campbell and soon Sexton there he wont be playing in the spine anytime soon. Why not reach out, only issue is GC would want a decent player in return, which they are entitled to.

As for the big name if it is one, Luke Metcalf i believe has to spring to mind, or Wishart. Even though Wishart is contracted for 26' and i felt he would not leave, i also believed Galvin would never entertain the idea of coming to Parra, he did for a bit. So happy to be proven wrong.

    • The biggest name would be Hughes if he wanted to test himself outside of Storm but I think it's best if it's all kept quiet from parras end. Something is up but

      • I am not sure if Hughes would want to be second fiddle. I mean imagine he helped Parra to a premiership, him and Moses would be seen as gods, might be the appeal and connection to Ryles.

Hughes is a get if it happens. He is older and will demand big money but we have money and can afford to have him at his age.

        • He's not leaving Melbourne.

I been told had a beer at my old rugby club last week with his oldman.

          Perth have been sniffing also.

          • Didn't he just come out and say he will be ignoring Perth to stay in Melbourne?

        • Nah, he seems firmly rooted in Melbourne with the Storm, we'd have to pay overs to get him. Pezet would be a smarter option from the Storm to parter Mitch, but then again, he's more of a 7. I think we need an out and out running 6 that can create things at speed. Moses and Hawkins can be our steering halves.

    • No please....

Never rated that bloke. Don't know what it is but he just doesn't excite me.

    • And Glavin entertained coming to Parra?

      😂😂😂😂

Please he never had any intentions and I reckon their family aren't even Parra fans. They just trudged that shit line out so that the Eels could play cover for where they really wanted to go.

Fair play on their behalf but Parra fans - no way. No real Parra fan does what they are doing and did.

      • now it seems like the dogs players are turning on him. The idiot had a fresh strat at Parra without any of the penrith baggage
