JDB is nearly that type
No where near what Beau Scott was EA, JDB is not an enforcer either. I am fully supportive of JDB, but don't suggest that he is an enforcer.
Is Salomona still available, he should be the enforcer. Strange that Junior is an incredably good boxer but apologises if he looks like he hurt someone.
We need Wiz as our enforcer, he can tell lies about them as the scrum gets set!
Jayden Sua Chazz Tevanga just guys that are uncompromising absolute mongrels.Old Skool Kevin Campion Toni Carroll Cement Gillespie am I bringing back memories.
You need two starting calibre hookers on your roster, they invariably miss games during the season due to injury.
You can't have too many good hookers.
Yeah spose ...so long as we can keep Ryley also. But maybe we've showed our hand too...taking so long to sign him to big boys money :(
What i do agree with here and you are the only one that mentioned it Mace. That Rylie not being there in the middle is where we were opened up....now blind Freddie could see there was huge gaps there but it took you to point it out Mace.....I was always of the view that we would miss Rylie, his tenanciousness and clean up is invaluable. He also chases and challenges the kicker, the tries they scored of kicks was an example of them having all the time in the world to put them up....
All the fcuking gooses on here that criticised everyone missed that blatant point Mace, congratulations.
PS I also see a potential conflict with TDS, I hope I am wrong but neither Rylie or him have a forwards build to be on the field at the same time. Maybe TDS can play 5/8 as well, makes more sense that someone like him would replace Dylan.....then we can use our other utilities to cover interchanges.
That's a fair point around TDS & Smith covering 6 the more you look at this with Lomax on the right side we don't need a dominant 6 and Papali makes sense.Your seeing it now even with good ball sets we are going more right than left
Reckon Ryley has been exceptional for us as has Sam (whom we miss badly with all of his 1/2 dozen worth of game experience). I truly can not understand the delay in signing Ryley up to big boys money, and like you've mentioned I truly hope it's for what he is worth which is at least what our new signing is on.
having two hookers and a spare is absolutely vital for us moving forward.
like you poppa was wondering what other positions TDS can play. First thing I did when found out about signing was look him up for that possibility. Can't say I found what I was hoping to, that he has 5/8 experience...maybe open to it who knows. Would be vgood.
Ryles doing well like him lots but we can't eff up losing Ryley and go the miserly route and offer massive unders for his service.. hope mon learned from previous stuff ups with Reed and papallii there. Guarantee other clubs will be watching this deal. Show him his value don't take for granted it don't work anymore.
papali was on 850k at the tigers only a desperate club would match that
Sorry mangolian don't think that's right, not sure where you got that figure but from everything I recall it was reported at about 635K. Besides the amount, we absolutely did not play our cards right in that saga esp considering the chicken feed we initially signed him for from warriors. We only agreed to re open offer after he was trying to get out of his wests contract. He worked very well for us and hasn't seemed to match that form since I reckon.
