Nothing in it. He wants to stay but Penrith yet to negotiate and he is free to talk on November 1. This is how Penrith operate with certain players. Let Blaize test his market then offer accordingly. They won't go and overpay if they are not sure. Why pay Blaize $800k a year when his best offer is $600k? As an example.
The premise of this has been threatening, if you want to look at any weaknesses that Penrith may have, look no further than Blaize...... now keep some perspective, he is a competent player that has been sensationally well handled by the Cleary's, it is just a case of do they keep perservering with him.
We do not need him regardless of his connections, if he had a future anywhere I think he could be a good halfback, his vision is fine and he reads numbers, he most certainly will not have the cleanup patrol covering his arse at Parra. Becoming a halfback (7) would need a whole revamping of his game notwithstanding and Parra is not in that market.

I would have a crack but it's a wait and see.

Nah. Still can defend and hasn't shown anything amazing
Last thing we need is a 5/8 who can't tackle.

Still having defensive issues 2 years into a Penrith system is a bit of a worry
