I'm not even sure that Laurie knows where his mugs are in his own kitchen. He has the uncanny ability to make a team of individual superstars play badly after they speak to him, which is a skill in and of itself.
The team selections are baffling, his lack of accountability is scary, and the fact that every single fan knows in advance exactly how Qld will dismantle NSW because their plans are super obvious and yet we stick with the same "it worked for Penrith" super-structured gameplan that has lost every single time because it doesn't work against non-salary-capped teams where you can't grind them down as easily.
I would willingly donate to a GoFundMe that bought Laurie a small tropical island that he could live on and therefore NOT be anywhere near the Blues.
But here's the thing...people HIRED him. People who apparently have an IQ that allows them to live independently. These people are the problem, because they knew Laurie was a failure, and has looked to be in cognitive decline for a while now. We have the talent to dominate Origin in NSW, but we have people up the top who are stopping it from happening.

Yes, without a doubt. He is horrible.
Can't understand why we gave him a second chance. Fair enough during the Maroons golden area, he only got 1 series win. However 2026 and 2025 should've been NSW wins. We were the better team on paper and his selection and coaching stuffed it. And yes, I'm already counting 2026 as a loss. Should've been a clean sweep.
Tedesco, To'o and Yeo should have their papers marked "never to be selected again".
Then Staggs, Lucas, Robson, Radley sent packing. They biggest flop of all last night was Cleary, but he is a koala so will automatically be selected. In that case, just pick Strange and let Mitch concentrate on the Eels.
