I like that Cup side. A good mix of youth and experience to provide that NRL cover. These guys will be knocking on the door of the NRL squad, and no doubt many will play a few games. In the past the Cup side has been a bit of a purgatory for out of form NRL players, but you can't afford that if you want to create legitimate backups in each position. Healthy competition for spots keeps everyone on their toes.
Too early to do as i believe there are alot of pieces still to move. Mainly around what happens with Simonsson, Matterson and Hands. We will have up to 5 spots to fill.
As for right now i think the team is pretty straight forward.

3. Penisini
4. Russell
5. Addo-Carr
6. Papali'i
7. Moses
8. Hopgood
9. Smith
10. Paulo
11. Williams
12. Kautoga
13. De Belin
14. Da Silva
15. Walker
16. Moretti
17. Tuilagi/Tuivaiti
Now again out of those 17 not too much movement will happen. The only question marks are Papali'i at 6 and Russell at Centre. I have also said there was a rumour of Paulo retiring but doubt it. So until about January is when we can actually have a decent prediction. As we just do not know about movement of players.
Why the question mark on Russell, he's a lay down misere for the left centre spot. I can understand Papali, but I doubt JR is looking for another 5/8. The one player who i think is under more pressure is JDB. When we signed him, players like Moretti, Kautoga, Kelma, Doorey and Guymer were not setting the world on fire, since then they have all gone above and beyond expectations. I'd hate to see any of these players miss out, but with what we have now, there's going to be a couple who will.
Interesting with JDB /Walker. One is more defence and the other is attack and plays very much like a half.
Didn't think we needed JDB to be honest. Walker is the no.13 we need to play more minutes.
I think it's time to give more minutes to Tuaviti as well. He should be in the 17 ahead of Morretti & Doorey. We need someone that can bend the line, someone to step into Paulo's shoes.
For me the key is Moses' being fit and playing at least 75% of the games; and Paulo staying on the ball; we need another forward for me and someone with some back up NRL exp would be good; Injuries are key and lets not forget we lost some back up backs this year due to injuries.
