"That's an intersesting thought. A very risky investment however because of injury issues and whether or not he's any good at 5/8.

I won't be shocked if Ryles ends up buying a experienced 6 and bringing them in as well. Not much noise on the recruitment front
I think he's already shown his card on that one.
They we're all in on Galvin I mean if the right guy comes up I think like you they'll pull the trigger for sure.

I cannot see Simmo at the club next year.
Expect the following others to push for the cup team as well:
That's a damn good cup side lol
The one thing I notice is that there is not much experience there to guide the younger blokes. Hawkins is there. Matto and Hands likely gone so yeah
Agree, it starts off promising and then tapers off pretty quick. That's not a team that's spent its cap wisely if we are too assume we've spent it all as required.
Thats are great NRL side EA. I reckon Williams needs to stay where he is but Id like to see KT and KK on the bench as they could provide better bench impact than JW
Needs more Taylan May.,
Ryles did mention a smokey for 5/8 spot a few weeks ago so maybe watch this space while the finals play out and November 1 comes around. Sometimes it is about a club ensuring they can sign a replacement before letting a player leave who is under contract.
I have heard from someone who has very close connections to various clubs that a mystery Sydney club and not the rumoured Saints or Bulldogs like usual rumours may be after Ponga.
Parra have the coin and although he has failed at 5/8 he didn't have support of someone like Moses. Ponga likes the left side and would likely slot in well with the right team around him and without feeling the need to over play his hand.
His attitude could be an issue but it is also why many clubs aren't considering him so his value is down and Newcastle want him gone willing to pay some freight if they get signatures they are after.
