You do realise Ryles has final say on the S&C coaches right? He would have sat down with Matty Jay and agreed to have him. MON and JS would not have hired Jay unless Ryles wanted him.
When the role requires you to work with the coach every day and form a connection and meet the philosphy of what the coach wants, that is a coach hire. If it is not a coach hire, why is the coach still employed for you?

You know, I have never seen Ben Rogers, would not know him If I tripped over him in the street.
When the site gets excited over the leaving of a bloke that no one knows or even what he achieved, it makes you wonder a bit about the Ben Rogers myth....has anyone ever seen him? Sounds like AI time......
