Good news with a question mark. Should be with an exclamation mark but since you asked the question, let me give you my answer and some perspective. There are players that have done a lot worse that are currently playing in the NRL (Ezra Mamm). There are players who served time for serious crimes who were allowed to play in the NRL once released from prison (Manu Mau, Danny Wicks), one recently released for stabbing someone at a party, apparently about to join his 3 brothers at the Tigers (Manase Fainu). You've had a player (Zac Lomax) stuff over 2 teams in 2 years who will be rewarded with a lucrative deal at the cheating scum of a team the PNG Chiefs in 2028. You have had teams like the Sydney Roosters and the Melbourne Storm breach the salary cap for years and win premierships. Fox automatically makes our backline and team a whole lot better. Eels don't get too many wins. Let's take this, no questions and move forward. GO THE EELS!!!
NRL approval to return to training should have been given the moment it became known that the B sample was negative. Why there is a delay beyond 2 minutes I do not know.
Happy to have Foxy for 2027. That said, I do wonder if the delay was us waiting on confirmation of another outside back (genuine first grader) signing that has fallen through?
Glad he is free, but cant help but think he uses coke alot more. His efforts this year way below par, scoring just 8 tries, gettin out scored by a hooker?? Seemed to just get by in games, dis-interested, sluggish etc.
Hope Ryles has hauled him over the coals. Again i know the 2nd sample came back negative, lucky for him, but it was there first time and not the first time either

"This.
Not just Koina, but even the likes of Pryke, Doorey, Guymer, Popo, Lokeni might all stake a claim to the 13.
Him, Simonsson, Paulo and Addo-Carr (as well as Luai) are the carry-over for 2027 before juniors and new signings in 2028. I hope at…"

Josh Addo-Carr will remain an Eel for the 2027 season.
The Parramatta Eels board met on Friday afternoon and decided against sacking the loved Eels star after his B sample came back Negative.
The club will now work with the NRL as they do their investigation. Once the NRL gives approval the Fox will return to training
Massive win, we need the experience and he will have a point to prove. Pay the club back with the faith they are putting in you foxy. Let's trot baby

Good news for him. I wonder if he has a decent 27 we give him another season..
I think it's great news

Definitely good news.
I was against when we were looking at losing him for half a season but seeing as that is no longer the case, I'm all for him staying.
He looked like he was hampered by injury this year so hopefully he can get past that before the new season kicks off.
Great news. Just waiting for the dogs at the nrl to hand down a suspension for no reason.
