It's funny how the Roosters have used this formula and have been extremely successful and it doesn't take Einstein to figure it out.
I personally don't think they will win it all but they are in the semis and definitely have a shot. I wouldn't right them off.
If the finals series this year especially doesn't show Eels fans that you need a dominant 6 or 7 to win the comp then you have rocks in your head.
Titans = Prince of Rogers
Tigers = Benji
Dragons = Soward
Roosters = Carney
It must frustrate Hayne because it certainly frustrates me sitting back and watching Carney, Benji especially and the above dominating and one of them will be holding up the trophy but good luck to them they are exciting to watch.
I believe if the Eels are legitimate about winning a premiership we have to follow the same formula as the blog.
Everyone that blogs that hayne doesn't want to play 6 is full of it, how would you know you don't even know the guy. There is no doubt in my mind that he would certainly want to take control of this team from hereonin and the only way to do it is to play 6.
The accolades and premierships will not come to Hayne playing with a 1 on his back. Nobody remembers the 1 when you have guys like Johns, Lockyer, Lewis, Sterlo, Kenny etc winning premierships.
I think Hayne knows what he has to do and i hope whoever is coaching us next year and beyond wakes up and smells the coffee.
So bring on 2011, the new recipe, Hayne to 6 and premiership chances.

On radio yesterday, I heard Jarryd interviewed on radio and asked who he thought would win on the weekend - and he said it is going to come down to the five-eighths.
I think right now, it's very interesting that the five-eighth has become arguably the most important position in the game. Last year, it looked like it might be fullback but I think teams have adjusted their defences somewhat to counter the man coming in from the back and give them less freedom.
As you've said here. It gives me great hope that Jarryd sees that five-eighth is the most prestigious position in the team and that he wants to play there. If he wants to play there - he will kill the position in my opinion.
We've all talked about Quade Cooper coming into five-eighth at Parramatta, but in Union the position he plays is really first receiver as the inside half distributes the ball from the ruck, more like a League hooker. Can you imagine a halves combination Quade Cooper at seven and Jarryd Hayne at six!
Everyone keeps looking for this and looking for that when it comes to our halves but we have 1 HUGE piece already just find the other and BANG.
QUADE & HAYNE 2012
I am frothing.....................
Bring it on
If they win it all Soward will play a BIG part in it. That is the point of the blog, it won't be Boyd that they will rave about it will be Jamie.
As for Benji agree with you about the forwards needing to dominate but thats a standard thing if a half is going to kick butt.
Both players started in the outside backs however it was obvious that they had all the skills and it was just a matter of experience and maturity before they went into the halves.
Its time to make the same call with Hayne.
Should it materialise, then I can't wait to see it in action, as with the amount of class and skill both Hayne and Quade have, we may just progressively get better and be able to land the killer blow, if not several on teams.
