He did play some 6 in pre-season last year. But we really should be utilising him in other spots. He wont be playing Fullback for us anyime soon with Iongi and Papali'i. So why waste him.
Agree
Twiddle has more upside being able to play wing, FB and 5/8, so I'd have him on the wings in NSW Cup over Tago.
Seems like a lot more top players named in the first trial of the year than I can remember in a long time. Is this a move to reduce the possibilty of repeating the performance in last years season opener? Plenty on offer in Round 1 for Ryles, this team and the Club. I reckon Jason will be focusing heavily on having everyone turn up and being 100% ready to play. It looks as though he's not messing about. Footy's back. Let's Go!!!!
I want to see us control the ruck and complete high.
I mentioned this last year we have to prepare like we are playing Melbourne that's the aim.
None of that BS we saw last year high error count ball movement that came with it.If we are to use the mentioned low errors and execute.
They are the 3 keys for me the score and what not are irrelvant.
As mentioned the only thing the next 2 pre season games we worry about is building a game we can take to Melbourne to be 1 competitive and 2 ultimately ending there 20 plus year round 1 winning streak.
If we turn up Willy Nilly in these preseason games we'll get eaten by Melbourne again.
Coryn, now that your mates- the nz Taranaki rugby trainer has been booted out of Parramatta, the team won't be running out of breath after 5 minutes in Round 1 again mate. He really made a world of difference.
That's got nothing to do with the trainer it's got to do with shit tactics and player errors go back and look at the first half of the season if we roll that weak sauce out against the Storm prepare your rectum for another penetration a deep long hard one the team will be taking.
Like I said this time last year against Newcastle if we aren't preparing a game plan for week 1 and winning down in Melbourne the team will take it up the ring again and like last year by plenty.
lol
Our fitness levels were way off until a quarter of the way through the season
When is the game?
