The heat is the problem

These boys have now played 2 Sunday games in extreme heat in a row . And I think it’s effecting all the players . They looked so fatigued out there . They did not look like they even wantethere . We will lose next wSof the heat but by round 4 parramatta will be going on a winning streak . All these games played in this weather is only going to help the boys with there fitness through out the year . But changes need to be brought in ASAP .French to wingHayne to fullbackTaka to centreEdwards inTorepo inVave inMatagi outMau benchPritchard or smith hooker

  • Manly were running through us before the heat could even take effect.

We are from the west and should have been used to hotter training and conditions than Manly, the heat is no excuse.

    • 2 weeks in a row is a lot harder . You should try going for a 80 min run in over 30 degree heat and try and do it the next week for another 80 mins . Then will see
  • Fecking weather has it in for us!!!

  • I think we were beaten psychologically by the heat before kick off.

Manly were just keen to get stuck in.

Whereas Parra, who had experienced extreme heat the prior week were thinking ‘here we go again. This is going to suck.’  They’ mindset was negative before a ball had been kicked.

You could see it in the sheds before the game. Manly looked switched on. Parra looked like they were headed out to a funeral.

Also which genius had them warming up for 30 minutes in that heat? Dumbass!

  • The trial match against Newcastle was 36 degrees.

    • Only 1 team played 2weeks in a row out there in extreme heat. It’s a big factor . Parra will still be strong force this year
  • Penrith also played in the heat last Sunday and backed up in the heat one day earlier than these mugs and still won. Heat is not an excuse. Lack of attitude and a game plan is. Do these blokes even train?
  • Pretty hot in Penrith yesterday (35C). 2 weeks in a row for the Panthers, different result.

  • Stuff The weather, manly showed up. Any other team would to
  • parra trained at landsvale boot camp in real heat around the 40c, for part of peseason up and down huge hills , then they went to heavy weight ,also in very hot weather, then it was off to central coast ,for sand hill training and 5 kmt runs all in a very hot summer pretraining with new fittness staff, and that was both the nrl sides and wenty.
brads stuff pushed the guys like race horses going for the big 2 mile melbourne cup for stayers..now look at the past 2 weeks, after one only trial game , both parra nrl side and wenty faded bad in the 2nd half against penrith in 40 c weather, this week wenty got

beat 46 nil, and faded bad in again 40 c heat, and today parra our nrl side got beat 54 nil..
to me i think parramatta players fro m the nrl side and wenty who did train together preseason, was over worked like race horse staying training prepared for the melbourne cup...and needed to freshen up before the first game, and today they need light training and swimming and Smoothies for All-Day Energy drinks like the bronco's use and the storm ,with night games ahead brad needs to act fast stay with our team and freshen all the parra nrl side and wenty up from monday , maybe the players need video work till wed and light runs, i am sure parra can burst back next week, blinf freddy can see today they where flat , real flat, so husky you are so right mate... send you r comment to brad arther or 360 sports on foxtelll. in my view brad traing stuff screwed our players there not machines in 40 c weather wake up... we supporters need better...
