Raiders v Eels Team List

The Parramatta Eels side to take on the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium on Saturday 14 April in Round Six of the competition has been named by Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur.

Arthur has made a handful of changes to his line up with Clint Gutherson set to return from injury named at fullback whilst Bevan French returns from injury named on the wing in place of Josh Hoffman.

A reshuffled forward pack sees Peni Terepo called into the starting front row alongside Tim Mannah whilst Tony Williams also retains his spot in the backrow alongside Manu Ma'u. Eels lock Nathan Brown has been ruled out with injury seeing Tepai Moeroa named at lock.

Beau Scott, Kenny Edwards, Daniel Alvaro and Kane Evans (who returns from injury) have been named on the bench with Will Smith, David Gower, Suaia Matagi and Josh Hoffman as the reserves.

Kick off at GIO Stadium is at 7:30pm.

  • Piss KP off and put The prince at 9

    • Cameron King is a pretender.

Will Smith is Wing/Full back not a Hooker cant tackle well enough too small, light frame, should be a jockey.

Kaysa though has zero fear, tackles hard and has played at hooker more often than Will Smith.

Why piss KP off, your comment makes no logical sense ? KP over Will is a no brainer.

  • Interesting to see how we go with Peni named to start. Browny is a massive loss. Gutho could be a bit of a difference for us. His involvement could see us have some more room out wide.

  • Weakest bench in the NRL.And the starting forwards will get dominated by Canberra.
  • Id rather King who has better defense and did ok last year.
Id also drop gower for Matagi = more power and hit up meters.

    Hoffman dropped all together.
  • I no four different back rowers tried on the right side first Tepai then Taka then Edwards and now the one who definitely shouldn't be starting T Rex.
  • Brown has 10 offloads in 5 games that's 2 a game the most out of our forwards now ba replaces him with Tepai who has 1 offload in 5 games what a dope.

"Yeah he's a very risky signing, and difficult to price. If he plays 20+ games he's worth $1.5M for sure, but in eight full seasons at the Knights, he's only played 20 games three times. It's only round 8 this year and he will have missed six games…"

From the start of the 2024 season up until today the Knights have played 55 premiership games and Ponga has been involved in 31. That is only 56%. Surely this must be considered when putting a valuation on him. If he is worth $1,500,000 per…"
