Shell-shocked Parramatta are considering making an immediate move to sign English prop Ryan Sutton in a bid to add some much-needed starch to their pack.
Sutton has been given permission to negotiate with NRL clubs by Wigan Warriors and wants to move to Australia.
At 22, he has already played nearly 100 games in the engine room for Wigan and is considered one of the best young props in Britain.
Newcastle have also been keeping tabs on Sutton but the way they have started the new season, they are unlikely to make a bid.
Sutton recently visited Australia in Wigan’s pre-season trial series down under and was checked out by several clubs, none moreso than the Eels.
With Parramatta’s pack capitulating to Manly 54-0 last Sunday, he could only help turn around the struggling club’s disastrous start to the season.

This is very good news. To be regarded as one of the best young props at such a young age is not a small thing. He can't do it all on his own however.
just be wary when they label someone a top prop in ESL.... Adam Cuthbertson is classed as one of the best props in Super League too!!!
Hope this works out better than the last to Super League props we signed.....
Who was that again? Oh, Mossop...forgot about him, isn’t he the best prop in ESL? We should sign him up as well :)
