  • It was a little painful getting there - but two years of pain will be worth it when we are ensconced in the newest and best rectangular stadium in Sydney for 2019.
My daughter and I had a couple of snags, a gallop on the hallowed turf and heard from the new maestro B. Gurr. Our new emperor said all the right things about being a fan and sponsor centric club and that he and "the front office" are there working for us - the fans. He mingled contentedly with the crowd and looked you in the eye when you shook his hand. All good signs - of course the proof will be in the pudding. #2017 - we're back baby
    • Can you elaborate on what you mean when you say it was painfull getting there?
Will the average punter have any chance of getting to a Friday night game without having to leave work at lunchtime?
    • Driving to the stadium is out of the question. Park at the station and catch a train. Ive always done that for ANZ games and its as effecient as anything
    • The train is free to the game from anywhere. And there will be a bus from Parramatta and the north west regions so shouldn't be am issue really.
    • Where abouts in the north west mate??
    • You'd think Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, possibly Dural/Winston Hills, down to Northmead and then to ANZ.
    • Yeah thats a good idea. I think the best way for me from greystanes is still to drive to merrylands station then train it
    • I park at lidcombe. Might try auburn which is easier on parking.
  • I headed out there with one of my mates (Mattas Mattas - a member on this site) in the car.

Our seats are sensational - one row from the back of that first section (so a fair way back), well elevated and pretty much in the middle, under cover if it rains, on the western side.

    The sausage sanga wasn't bad - I give it a 6.5 out of 10. Solid effort :)

I spotted sixties in the bar, he was deep in conversation with Bernie Gurr so i didn't bother him (we had to go).

Pretty sure I saw Snake getting arrested down near the male toilets as well. He was holding a drill.

All in all couldn't be happier with my seats - great job Parra.

They also have an option where you can reserve a P1 carpark for the season for about $150 from memory - i'll be getting that - it's a pretty good deal I reckon.

If anyone wants to come and flap their gums with Kramerica during the season i'm in Western Stand, gate 132, row 27 seat 17  :)

    Bring on the footy!!
