Half the job. Half the responsibility. Share the blame. Share the failure.
What is it with the Eels giving washed-up players who would never make a first grade side with another NRL club co-captaincy positions. The same thing happened with Cayless in his last few years. He was a nothing leader and so adult brains pushed for Hindy to take over the captaincy role but Hindy didn't want to take the job off his mate so they decided to share the job. And the trophy cabinet is still empty because of it. I was a huge Hindy fan but I lost a lot of respect for him when he didn't take the job and be the warrior leader we needed. Now we have the same thing with Mannah. I can't believe how selfish he is by continuing to play TBH. And I though the same about Cayless. If you care about this team, know when to f#$% off into the sunset. I'm sure both meatheads Cayless and Mannah are real "top blokes." Not good enough. Sam Thaiday sucked as a captain so they demoted him and he took it like a man. Last year you could safely say our captain was the worst player on the field. This year, sadly, he's not. But that still doesn't mean he should lead. Leaders require leadership qualities and he has none. Just like his mentor Cayless.
WE NEED A LEADER!

Exactly right, ive been saying this for years, unfortunately Brads a proven very poor judge of a leader and does not have the courage or smarts to drop Tim as leader.
I have grave fears for our future because of this and Brads inability to identify leaders or bring them to the club, also his lack of ability to plan for the future leader wise.
Tim will carry Brad coaching coffin out of the club if Brad leaves him at captain.
Heres a forward pack led by Timmy and Jane Evans at BAs going away party.
Welcome aboard faith, looks like we have a new contender for mouth breeder of the year, congratulations sweetheart.
Heres another shot of Timmy and Jane carrying Brads coaching career to the grave Faith.
