Copied from a Parra fan on FB: "The radio coverage today said the Eels warmed up for half an hour on the field in the 40+ heat whereas Manly were sensible enough to do their warmup in the air conditioned sheds. Is it any wonder the Eels had no energy when the game started and got steamrolled? Who was the brains behind that awesome decision? Sack them and do it quick please"

No, it's true. I heard it on the ABC as it was happening.
Anyone sitting in the sun without a hat one will get up and walk around like a drunk chicken let alone running around without a hat for 30 mins before a big game.
No wonder we looked cooked after the first 5 minutes. The whole team's stamina looked like they'd just enjoyed a 24 hour orgy at a brothel.
Ffs - bejesus
The little bit of the warm up I seen on TV was pretty relaxed, when I seen it I thought to myself, maybe because of the heat they are taking it easy in the warm up and I hoped manly were being flogged in their warm up but no they were out of the heat doing theirs.
In a 40 degree sun, all you need to do is stand for 5 mins and everything is warmed up in no time. It's so hot and your ball sack hangs so low that you get easily chaffing between your legs.
The air would have been drier than the Gobi desert.
