The Parramatta Eels have continued their raid of the Queensland Cup.
Sunshine Coast falcons winger Zion Johnson has signed a deal to join the Eels next year. Johnson managed 17 tries in 22 appearances for the Falcons who made it to the Grand Final.
Zion’s good form saw him be picked as part of the Fiji World Cup Squad.
Zion has signed a train and trial deal so will need to go out and prove himself. At 25 Zion has plenty of experience and clearly knows how to find the try line!!

Guessing gonna be cup winger. But wondering what it will mean for the likes of Rokosuka/Vaivela.
I imagine our Cup will be Nanva - Samrani plus this Johnson block and maybe a Schiller? That's not too bad if you add a decent fullback to it.
Hope they give Bamblett the cup fullback spot. Devote can leave now. Don't rate him. Roksuka will start the year in JF and get a chance if he develops well. Bloomfield and Sorovi will be pushing too.
Alamadine is on a dev deal next year too

I will protect a mate that is heavily involved with his current Club and had a lot to do with this kid. He tells me this kid, has great speed, awesome defence, is a great finisher and has an infectous personality. Sounds very promising!
If he was taller I'd love love this signing.

This 'kid' is 25. Would have thought he'd be well into an NRL career if he had that much potential. Perhaps he's a Cody Walker, late bloomer?
Maika Sivo debuted with us at 26 years of age. It can happen. Not very often but you can get some good mid 20 rookies to blossom late.
