Braith Anasta said on NRL360 that Zac Lomax may have played his last game for Parramatta, and is very close to signing a deal with R360 worth around $3m a season to jump ship.
Braith said he heard a rumour from someone close to R360 and it's serious.
Peter Vlandys also advised on the same show that anyone who has an NRL contract and signs with R360 will suffer consequences.

NRL cannot actually give consequences. Legally they cannot do that. However, Parramatta do have the right to say no as he has a contract. Plus I reckon there would be stipulations of that contract that says you cannot play another code during the contract in off-season.
Though they cannot stop Lomax coming back if a team is willing to sign him.
Doesn't sound like Braiths mail is that great, coming from the Union 360 side and pure speculation. I'd ignore it for now unless the club or Lomax actually say something. Just doesn't really have much legs yet
Well we've heard for months about Lomax and he was considering it, reportedly telling parramatta he is interested.
Another thing with Anasta is he is best mates with Ryles, they talk every week apparently. I wonder if he would make claims about a Parra player without asking Ryles himself. Now, of course he cannot say "Rylesy told me this". But he can gauge the news.

Technically it is to start September 2026 I believe. Lomax could do both in 2026. Not ideal but can.
Training etc or 1st day at work for the new franchises is supposed to begin June 2026 isn't it.

R360 has said they will give exemptions for players in other codes to come later if their teams make semi's
